Estonia's new President Kersti Kaljulaid came to Latvia Thursday for her second official foreign trip, immediately after visiting her Finnish counterpart in Helsinki - the traditional first stop for Estonian presidents.

Friday morning they will get together again for a joint press conference.

As previously reported by LSM, Kaljulaid was the surprise winner of a protracted electoral process in Latvia's northern neighbor, becoming Estonia's first female president.
