The event was organized by NATO in cooperation with the Latvian defense industry and the mobile communications and technology company LMT.
The event showcased various state-of-the-art technology solutions, including autonomous land, sea and air drones and solutions for secure information exchange between military and civilian structures and equipment using the capabilities of the 5G network.
At the end of October, the "Digital Backbone Experiment" organized by NATO took place at Ādaži and elsewhere in Latvia, during which the main focus was on the use of fifth-generation mobile telecommunications and low-orbit satellites to support the compatibility of technologies of all types in the military tasks of the armed forces on land, sea, air and cyberspace.
The goal of the project is to integrate the latest technological advances in a real environment to improve the interoperability and operational effectiveness of allied forces.
