The “Furious Wolf 24” training takes place regularly in all three Baltic States and aims to practice the integration of close air support in and outside the urban environment.
During the training, low flyovers of Allied Air Force planes will take place in Latvian airspace, both during the light and dark hours of the day, as well as the movement of military equipment and soldiers along Latvia's main and regional roads.
“Such military exercises greatly improve understanding of the role of the units in fulfilling common tasks and make an indispensable contribution to comprehensive national defense by facilitating the fulfillment of host state support functions for incoming allied state units,” the NBS noted.
