The Digital Forensic Research lab (DFR), an organization that specializes in analyzing online content and flushing out so-called "Fake News" has turned its attention to a series of demonstrations in various countries concerning Latvian educational reform.

Specifically, the generally small-scale protests took place in response to plans to increase the amount of Latvian-language instruction given in schools in Latvia.

The research by Nika Aleksejeva may be of some interest and can be read HERE.

DFR lab says it has "operationalized (sic) the study of disinformation by exposing falsehoods and fake news, documenting human rights abuses, and building digital resilience worldwide."
