The way schools will operate in September has not yet been decided. The Minister confirmed that the decisions will be subordinated to the epidemiological situation.
"We expect that remote learning will not be the general norm and we hope that younger pupils will be able to attend school," Šuplinska said.
If the two-meter distance is still in place in autumn, there is likely to be a change in school timetables.
The Minister explained that on-site classes would be beneficial particularly to younger pupils. Older students did not have major issues with remote studies. "A different issue is how enticing the process is. There is a need for socialization. But they can deal with it for a certain period of time," the Minister said.
