Disorderly bear caught and released again

Take note – story published 2 years ago

One of the duo of bears that had returned to Northern Vidzeme gardens even after a slap on the paw, has been caught and released farther away again, Nature Conservation Agency (DAP) said October 23.

LSM reported that one of the famous teenage bears had visited a garden of Mrs Elga Nool two nights in a row. On the third night, way past curfew, the DAP managed to trap the bear in a cage and take it to the forests near Alūksne where it is hoped to stay.

The other bear of the duo has not been spotted so far. If you see one with an ear-tag, DAP asks for it to be reported by phone at 29365307.
