The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 6,012. The latest victims were all aged over 50 years.
Thursday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 423 patients being treated in hospitals, six of whom are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
