Deaths in fires have been increasing as the country is seeing cold weather.
On January 15 two people died in fires and another one on January 14.
"Seven people have died during the past few days. Some of the tragedies could have been prevented if people would follow fire safety standards, like abstaining from the use of damaged furnaces, and would have installed smoke detectors inside their homes. We invite everyone to take care about their own safety and that of their closest people," the Fire and Rescue Service said on Twitter.

Daļu no traģēdijām varēja novērst, ja cilvēki ievērotu ugunsdrošības prasības, piem., nelietotu bojātas krāsnis un mājokļos ierīkotu dūmu detektorus. Aicinām ikvienu rūpēties par savu un līdzcilvēku drošību! pic.twitter.com/JbGQwNCoU6
