Thursday through Saturday, air temperatures will be mostly within -3 C to +2 C overnight and in the mornings, even down to -5 C in Vidzeme. During the days, the temperatures will range between +1 C and +7 C.
Precipitation, mostly wet snow, is expected at times.
A significant layer of snow will not form, but at times the ground may be white. Roads will be icy.
Winds will be slow on Thursday, but easterly winds will pick up on Friday and Saturday, with gusts reaching 12-17 meters per second in many places on Saturday, with areas on the coast around 20 meters per second.
Further forecasts show that heavy snow is possible overnight into Sunday, a thin layer of wet snow may develop in many places, but it will not last long, as the weather will get warmer from Sunday.
