Cool beginning and warmer weekend in Latvia

The first half of the week will be cool but the temperatures will rise in the second half of the week with possible rainfall, according to forecasts by weatherman Toms Bricis.

On Tuesday morning, there will be frost down to -5 C at night but in the afternoon the temperature will range between  0 C to +1 C in the east and +6 C to +7 C on the coast. At nights and in the morning, roads will be slippery, it will be foggy and frosty. 

On Wednesday night, a small frost to -1 C is expected only in the east of the country. As of Wednesday, warmer air will flow in, the temperatures remaining above zero at night and reaching up to +8 C during the day.

Further forecasts indicate that the weather could get colder in Latvia at the beginning of next week and that some of the first snow layers would form.
