The night to Thursday will be cold with frost expected in Vidzeme and Latgale with temperatures sliding to +1..+4C but warmer in the rest of the country.
Thursday will still be sunny and temperatures are expected to reach +15..+17C in the east and +17..+19C elsewhere.
A cold weather system will be crossing Latvia on the night to Friday bringing clouds, as well as rain in parts of Vidzeme. Friday will be cloudy in the eastern regions and mostly sunny elsewhere. Temperatures of +14..+16C are expected in the east and +15..+18C elsewhere.
Saturday and Sunday will see the maximum temperatures fall to +12..+17C with frost at night. The days will be somewhat cloudy and local rains are expected too.
However the next week could still get as warm as +20C by mid-week.
