Together with Riga folklore groups, you will have the opportunity to learn the songs of Midsummer, weave wreaths, learn more about Midsummer herbs and their meaning, folklore groups will perform and the evening will end with a lively dance.

Līgo dance duo Zemgus and Laura and Creative association-actor ensemble "Ilga" will perform for a pre-Midsummer festival.
18:00-21:00 In the cultural space "Hive" in Plavnieki Green Grove
Songs, dances and games will be performed by Melisa Debora Kaškura, the folklore group "Kokle" and Katrīna Dimanta. The event will be hosted by Artūrs Mednis.
16:00–22:00 Ķīpsala, Zunda krastmala 8
The festivities will begin with wreath weaving workshop by herbalist Līga Reiterė. RTU postfolklore group "Daba San" will perform. At 18:00 a performance of Skroderdienas Silmačos by Rūdolfs Blaumanis, a legendary Latvian play, will be on stage with Rīga Technical University administration as the actors. More folk dance performances will follow.
19:00-21:30 Town Hall Square
Dance groups of Riga Culture and Folk Art Centre "Small Guild": TDA "Līgo", VPDK "Līgo", VPDK "Sen Līgo", DA "Daiļrade", DA "Daiļrade VP", VPDK "Daiļrades zelts", children TDA "Dzintariņš" and senior dance group "Līgo absolventi" will perform their dance performances. The concert will be hosted by Zane Burnicka, a graduate of the children's folk dance ensemble "Dzintariņš". The artistic director of the concert is Jānis Purviņš.

17:00-20:00 in the Ziemeļblāzma Park
Herbalist Līga Reitere will share her knowledge about Midsummer magic and rituals to maintain health, folklorist Baiba Ērgle will teach you how to weave wreaths and dance the magic wreath dance. The evening will end with a concert by the group "Ducele".
19:00 at the culture center Imanta
Around 150 dancers of several generations - dance groups "Dejotprieks", "Imanta", "Imantieši", "Latve", folk dance ensemble "Lielupe" - will help tell the story of the Latvian traditional Midsummer play Skroderdienas Silmačos by Rūdolfs Blaumanis.
19:00 In the cultural space "Hive/Strops" in Bolderāja, in the garden of Bolderāja Branch Library, Gaigalas iela 3
Concert by the energetic post-folklore group "Rikši" and Latvian pattern workshop - bracelet and henna tattoo making. Led by the creative association "Sapnīca".
11:00 and 13:00 in the garden of the Culture Centre "Small guild"
12:00 in Town Hall Square
A pre-Midsummer concert by Orchestra "Rīga" will be performed.
19:00 in the cultural space "Hive" in Ķengarags, in the yard of Latgale Suburbs Music and Art School, Prūšu iela 13B
The folklore group "Putni" of the Lēdurga Culture House of Sigulda Municipality will perform, headed by Mārtiņš Āboliņš.
19:00–20:20 at the "Ave Sol" Concert Hall
A performance by Riga Chamber Choir "Ave Sol", artistic director and conductor Andris Veismanis, conductor Jurģis Cābulis, Agnese Egliņa (piano), Ieva Nīmane (wind instruments).
The concert program will include a selection of lullabies and Midsummer Night Mysteries, which will depict not only the Latvian summer solstice celebrations but also the traditions of other Northern European countries.

The traditional Herb Market will be hosted, where you can get wild flowers and medicinal plants for your Midsummer decorations and teas alike.
The brass band "Fanfara", children's dance group "Teiksmiņa", folk dance ensemble "Teiksma studija", children's vocal ensemble "Magonīte", children's dance ensemble "Dzīpariņš", youth dance ensemble "Dzīpars", Orchestra "Rīga", dance ensemble "Dancītis" folklore group "Kokle", brass quintet "Acumirklis", middle generation dance group "Sidrabi", middle generation dance group "Mana Rotaļa", folk music group "Teikas Muzikanti", dance group "Marmale", chapel "Hāgenskalna muzikanti", folk dance ensemble "Liesma", band "Rahu The Fool" will enrich the atmosphere of the market with music, songs and dances.

A pre-Midsummer concert with women's choir "Ausma", men's choir "Frachori", mixed choir "Mūza" and kokle ensemble "Kokļu klubs" will be held. The event will be hosted by Salvis Sprūžs.
20:00-01:00 Parking lot at 5 Mazā Jauniela, Old Town
Ethno disco night "Saulgriezis" with DJ KAN, DJ Just Scenny, DJ RDean, DJ Kaspars Zaviļeiskis and DJ Dīvs Reiznieks.
A wreath-making workshop will be open.
19:00-21:00 in the cultural space "Hive" in Ziepniekkalns, Ēbelmuižas Park
Concert of the world music group "Jōra" "Dance all Midsummer Night" and wreath weaving workshop. Visitors are asked to bring blankets to sit on.
