As well as the trade fair itself, a wide program of linked events at various locations are promoting Latvian culture and business. Writer Irma Kalnina recently scored a surprise hit with her children's book At the Table, a tale not about witches and wizards or wimpy kids but table manners and how they have an important role to play in daily life. Irma is is London hoping to spread the word among the Brits, who may possibly have forgotten a little of their renowned respect for proper manners and social etiquette in recent years...
