Choose your Latvian coin of the year!

Bubble Fibula or Garden of Destiny? Honey or Curonian kings? Such are the thought processes in which you will find yourself engaged should you choose to take up an invitation from the Latvian central bank (Latvijas banka, LB) to select your favorite coin of 2018 in a public vote.

"It is an important annual event in Latvian coin art," says LB, "Everyone is invited to express his/her opinion as to which of the collector coins minted in 2018 is the most appealing one in terms of the artistic solution, which of them is emotionally moving, original or depicts the most interesting subject. Anyone can vote for his/her favourite coin at: https://www.delfi.lv/latvijas-gada-moneta-2018/."
