In just a decade entrepreneur Aigars Kesenfelds grew his finance business from nothing to an international network with turnover of 400 million euros per year.
Specialising in short-term or 'payday' loans, as well as other forms of financing, Kesenfelds has not been content to operate only in his homeland and has reaped profits in various countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, but in recent times he has also run into problems with regulators in some of these territories.
Re:Baltica provides an interesting biography of Kesenfelds, who is still in his thirties and would seem to have a long business career still ahead of him despite several current controversies.
The English-language version of the story can be read at the Re:Baltica website.
