On June 16, the Ministry of Finance compiled and submitted to the government an information report on the reallocation of funding in 2023 for the health sector of EUR 140 million.

Health spending for 2023 with additional allocations will reach 12.3% of the country's consolidated budget, the Ministry of Finance reported.

In order to find the necessary funds, expenditure was reviewed by sectoral ministries and other public authorities. This will result in a reallocation of €57 million from sectoral ministries to the Ministry of Health.
