Half of the mentioned sum will be provided by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
The commission established by the Municipal Social Service made the decision to grant the maximum benefit to two destroyed farms amounting to six minimum monthly salaries as set by the Cabinet of Ministers. The third farm will be given a benefit amounting to four minimum monthly wages, taking into account that the house is only occupied seasonally. The farm which had suffered relatively less damage will be given a benefit amounting to one minimum monthly wage. And another farm will receive a half of one minimum monthly wage.
The extent of damage wrought to the Golvari cemetery is still being assessed. Although the felled trees were quickly cleared away, it is planned that the cemetery fence will be replaced and arborist services employed to remove all broken trees.
The families affected by the storm have procured the help of their close relatives, friends, and neighbours in an effort to clear the consequences of the catastrophe and renew their farms.
