Turnover of retail trade in food products declined by 1.2 %. Retail trade in non-food products (except for retail sale of automotive fuel) increased by 6.7 %, but of automotive fuel – by 12.0 %.
Compared to July 2020, the most notable turnover rise was recorded in retail sale via mail order houses or via Internet (of 32.1 %), retail sale in stalls or markets (21.0 %) and retail sale of electrical household appliances in specialised stores (20.6 %). Significant turnover drop was registered in retail sale of cultural and recreation goods (of 13.9 %) and retail sale of information and communication equipment in specialised stores (4.7 %).
Total retail trade turnover at current prices increased by 8.3 % (not taking into account the calendar influence).
