The results show that the most frequently-desired employees are  specialists in the IT industry, with the programmer's profession particularly valued., followed by various business support professions (marketing, finance, accounting).

The survey also says employers often have concerns about finding sufficient properly trained specialists in these areas TOPAS creators emphasize that the professions and educational institutions where they are taught are often suggested, it is precisely in these areas that it is difficult to find knowledgeable and qualified specialists, and consequently are very supportive of computer science courses run by Riga Technical University and the University of Latvia.

Employers also highlighted the construction, marketing, catering and customer service professions as those with high demand.
