The information provided by the State Police on Twitter shows that a civilian trailer with a military fuel tank was on fire on the A6 highway in Salaspille. Operational services work at the site of the event.
Around 19:00 the traffic was partially restored in both directions.

In Salaspils, traffic movements in both directions have been completely closed on the highway. Rescuers pointed out that their work was hampered by the large number of spectators; these people also endanger themselves.
