Lato Lapsa: Pushing Against The Door

On April 29, well-known investigative journalist Lato Lapsa spent a couple of hours under arrest courtesy of Latvia's Security Police (DP) after a visit to their headquarters took an unusual twist.

One day later, LSM met Lapsa back outside the DP building where this self-confessed "pain in the ass" gave his side of the story, explained why he consideres it esssential for all journalists to carry a dictaphone and warned of a security service that in his view lacks any effective oversight.
