Titled "Latvian public media and society 2023: listen, see, understand", the conference will be broadcast live on the Facebook account of the public media regulator and here on the LSM portal in both Latvian and English as well as on the LTV.LV Facebook account and on the Facebook account of Latvian Radio.
The conference will also involve announcing the winners of the public media ombudsman's professional ethics award, and will involve representatives of the new government discussing policy for the development of quality media space and, in particular, state funding for strengthening public media. Experienced journalist Jānis Domburs will lead the proceedings.
The conference takes place on Friday, September 22 from 10:00-15:30.
