Nine MEP seats in Latvia were won by 7 of the 16 lists of candidates registered for the elections, with New Unity receiving the largest share of votes - 25.09%.
According to the data compiled by the CVK, out of a total of 1,541,102 people eligible to vote, 521,226 or 33.82% took part in the elections.
When the ballot boxes were opened, 520,367 valid ballot envelopes and 514,585 valid ballot papers were found.
The highest turnout was in Vidzeme, where 176,144 voters cast their ballot, while the lowest number of voters went to the polling stations in Latgale - 47,030.
According to the data collected, 7 of the 16 lists of candidates registered for the elections have won nine MEP seats in Latvia: New Unity: 25.09%; National Alliance: 22.07%; For Latvia's Development: 9.36%; United List: 8.18%; Progressives: 7.45%; Harmony: 7.13%; Latvia First: 6.16%.

The submitters of the lists of candidates and the declared candidates have the right to appeal against this decision within seven days of its adoption before the Administrative Regional Court, Riga, Baldones iela 1A, LV-1007.
