Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics gave a snap reaction to the unfolding tragedy in Brussels saying that the outrages would see Europe needing to redouble its efforts to tackle international terrorism.
Speaking to LSM immediately before a meeting of the Latvian cabinet was due to discuss its reaction to the unfolding tragedy in Brussels, Rinkevics said there was no initial news about Latvian casualties and offered his condolences to the people of Belgium.
