On Thursday, November 17, the Saeima approved the parliamentary mandates of Gundars Daudze (Union of Greens and Farmers) and Jekaterina Dorošķeviča (For Stability!).

Daudze was elected to the 14th Saeima from the list of candidates of the Union of Greens and Farmers in the Kurzeme constituency. He was absent at the first Saeima meeting on November 1 a month ago, so he had to give his solemn oath today. He is a former speaker of the Saeima.

Dorošķeviča was elected to the 14th Saeima from the For Stability! candidate list in the Latgale constituency. She took office as the next on the list after Nadežda Tretjakova stepped down straight after taking office.

The Speaker of the Saeima, Edvards Smiltēns, welcomed the new members and stated that the 14th Saeima is finally starting work in its full composition.

Seven political associations are represented in the 14th Saeima: New Unity, Union of Greens and Farmers, the United List, National Alliance, For Stability!, Latvia First, and Progressives.
