One Covid-related death was reported Saturday, so the death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 2,550.
On July 23, 50 patients were being treated in Latvian hospitals for coronavirus symptoms. Of that number, 9 have serious symptoms.
The number of fully completed vaccinations in the country now stands at 659,450. On July 23, 2,987 people received a first vaccination and 1,984 received a second vaccination.
