In Latvia, over 60% of the population is now fully vaccinated against Covid-19, according to November 18 data from the National Health Service (NVD), LETA reported.

In the first three days of this week, on average, a total of around 10,100 people were vaccinated per day, less than last month. The number of first doses is also dwindling, no more than around 30% of the total daily count. There is no data on November 18 yet but it is likely to be low due to the public holiday.

As of November 18, 988,154 people had got the first dose, of which 872,908 people had both doses, while around 258,500 had the single-dose vaccine. Thus 1.13 million or 60.11% of the total population have completed the vaccination course.

41,200 or 2.18% of the population have received the booster shot.
