Two Covid-related deaths were confirmed, so the death toll since the start of the pandemic rises to 2,552.
On July 27, 39 patients were being treated in Latvian hospitals for coronavirus symptoms. Of that number, 5 have serious symptoms.
During the last 24 hours 2,305 people received the first vaccination and 2,318 received the second dose. In all 666,774 people have completed a course of vaccination in Latvia to date.
Meanwhile in Estonia 193 new Covid cases were registered Tuesday and in Lithuania 211 new cases were recorded.
