80% of vaccines administered in Latvia are boosters

This week, around 80% of the vaccines administered against Covid-19, were boosters, according to information by National Health Service (NVD) reported by Latvian Television January 13.

During the first three working days of this week, approximately 30,000 people, or 10,000 daily, received jabs against Covid-19.

Nearly a million residents of Latvia are eligible for a booster shot. More than 300 thousand of them have already received it.

The National Health Service will continue to offer extensive vaccination opportunities to motivate residents to get a third shot.
