The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 138,238.
Of 7,944 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 0.7% were positive.
The 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants ticked up from 28.0 Monday to 28.5 Tuesday, still just above the level of 20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants which is officially classed as "low risk" under the government's four-color warning system.

Sadly, four Covid-related deaths were also reported Tuesday, wih the youngest victim aged just aged just 20-29 years. The death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 2,548.
On July 20, 57 patients were being treated in Latvian hospitals for coronavirus symptoms.
The number of fully completed vaccinations in the country stood at 638,815 on July 19.
Currently, the number of cases of Covid-19 imported into Latvia is increasing and the spread of the virus is not declining in general, the LETA newswire was informed by the SPKC.
One of the most important indicators of the spread of the virus is the reproductive rate (R) of Covid-19 infection, which has risen from 0.77 to 1 during the past week. The SPKC emphasized that this indicates that the prevalence of Covid-19 in Latvia is increasing, LETA reported.
Meanwhile 81 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Estonia Tuesday while in Lithuania 101 new cases were recorded.
