Since the beginning of the pandemic, 939,146 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 6,013. The latest victim was aged 90 to 99 years.
Friday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 409 patients being treated in hospitals, six of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
