Riga and Kalvene zoos open to visitors

From Tuesday, May 19, visitors are again welcome at the Riga Zoo, as well as their branch "Cīruļi" in Kalvene parish, as reported on the zoo website on May 18.

At Riga Zoo, the Zoo's entire outdoor area and a part of indoor exhibits will be open to visitors. Open indoor exhibits will include Tropical House, Latvian Amphibian and Reptile Exhibit hall, exhibit of Lemurs and Galápagos Tortoises and second floor of the Giraffe House.

At Affiliate Cīruļi, all exhibits will be open to the public.

Safety measures are observed and visitors are invited to comply with the 2-meter distance.

All surfaces indoors are disinfected frequently. Hand sanitizers are available in the territory of the Zoo. Additional safety warnings are placed in various locations at the Zoo. In locations where gathering is possible, distance floor markers have been drawn.
