Tuesday will be mainly sunny, but due to the high heat and high humidity, the weather will seem especially stressful. The prevailing winds will be slow and from the southeast and south.
A red warning remains in place for the period from 12:00 to 15:00 when conditions and UV radiation levels will be particularly dangerous. Maximum temperatures could reach as high as + 33 C.
Thunderstorms could also occur in some places, especially in the afternoon; they may deposit enough rain to cause localized flash flooding, and their strong winds could also cause damage to structures and trees.
As previously reported, due to the hot weather, the risk of various health problems is significantly increased. Members of the public are advised to stay out of direct sunlight, especially in the middle of the day. Fluid intake (non-alcoholic) should be increased and you should drink regularly throughout the day. Exertion in the sweltering conditions may lead to hyperthermia, and people cooling off in rivers and lakes are advised to exert caution, with several drowning tragedies already reported.
