Tuesday afternoon will see the dissipation of clouds allowing the sun to shine through clearly with no chance of rain.
High temperatures will reach between +7 and +12 degrees but wind gusts from the south southwest will also reach 8 to 13 meters per second, up to 15 meters per second on the coasts.
Riga will experience highs around +9 or +10 degrees.
The rest of the work week may see the return of cloud cover and a daily chance of light drizzle in Kurzeme and Vidzeme provinces by Thursday and Friday as well as the weekend, when a broader zone of moisture crosses the land bringing occasional sprinklings.
Winds will remain moderately strong as well, reaching between 9 and 14 meters per second from the south.
Beyond that extended forecasts suggest the weather pattern may maintain itself to the middle of the month.
