On Saturday, rainfall is expected throughout Latvia, there is a potential for hail and even thunderstorms. West, south-west winds will reach around 20 meters per second on the coast.
Sunday night the sky will be clear in many places, but toward the morning clouds will thicken again and most of Sunday the sky will be overcast and it will rain.
The air temperature on the weekend will be between +6 C and +11 C, at nights +4 C to +9 C, Sunday night around zero in the east.
It will be cooler at the beginning of the next week, a small frost is expected on Tuesday morning across the country. Between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon there could be some snowing in Vidzeme and Latgale.
