The night to Saturday will still be chilly, with temperatures slipping to near zero in much of the country. The day will be sunny, but in the afternoon, larger clouds can bring temporary rain to places, with thunderstorms also possible in some parts of Kurzeme and the central part of the country. Temperatures will rise to between +13 C and +17 C, cooler along the coast.
Sunday will pass without precipitation throughout Latvia. The overnight temperature will be +3 to +8 C, afternoon +16 C to +21 C. Winds will be slow and shifting on Sunday, and coastal areas might not get a temperature higher than +10 C.
At the beginning of the new week, dry and sunny weather will continue, with temperatures in most of Latvia exceeding 20 degrees.
