Take note – story published 7 years ago

The work week will see changeable weather with snow giving way to rain and vice versa, but the weekend is set to be dry and sunny, reported LSM's weatherman Toms Bricis.

Monday and Tuesday will be wet, with rain turning into snowfall starting Tuesday afternoon. Air temperatures will be between 0..+5C on these days.

Temperatures are expected to fall on the night to Wednesday to 0..-5C and down to -9C in the easternmost parts of the country.

Wednesday will be slushy again with snowfall turning into rain throughout the day across Latvia.

Snow and wet snow will continue falling over the country, albeit on a lesser intensity, over the second half of the week. Temperatures will hover around 0C in the coastal regions and drop to -5..-9C in the easter.

Blusterly winds are expected to persist over the workweek, especially on Wednesday and Thursday when gusts of 15-19 m/s are in the forecast.
