The day will be sunny in most places, in Kurzeme the sky will be overcast in the afternoon.
The temperatures will be between -3 and -8 degrees Celsius, down to -11 C in the East. The temperature during the day in Rīga will be around -7 C.
In the evening, the East of Latvia will still see temperatures below -20 C, but toward Saturday morning there will be thaw all over the country, with temperatures from +3 C in Kurzeme to -7 C in Latgale on Saturday and around +3 C to +4 C throughout the country on Sunday.
