In the Augšdaugava municipality of souther-eastern Latvia, water levels continue to rise, at least eight roads have been flooded, as well as a summer-house co-op with residential houses has started flooding, the executive director of the municipality of Augšdaugava Pēteris Dzalbe told LETA on April 2.

Latvia's State Agency of Medicines will review whether the use of Rigvir, a drug advertised as a virotherapeutic anti-cancer medicine, should be on the state list for compensated medicines.
