Unfortunately two Covid-related deaths were confirmed. One victim was aged 50-59, the other 80-89. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,561.
There are currently 62 people being treated for Covid-19 symptoms in Latvian hospitals, of which 14 are categorized as having serious symptoms.

Meanwhile, in Estonia 290 new Covid cases were registered Tuesday and in Lithuania 517 new cases were recorded.
