Of the new cases, 218 cases were unvaccinated persons, or persons not fully vaccinated, and 131 were fully vaccinated. The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 246,465.
Of the 4,305 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 8.1% were positive. The 14-day cumulative morbidity rate per 100,000 population fell very slightly from 754.9 Sunday to 751.0 Monday.

Unfortunately, 17 more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed and tragically included one person in the 10-19 years age bracket. All of the other victims were aged over 50 years. Two of the fatalities were fully vaccinated individuals. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 3,967.
Sunday data show 1,091 patients being treated in hospital with 189 patients displaying serious symptoms.
Meanwhile in Estonia 403 new cases and 11 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours and in Lithuania the figures were 851 new cases and 23 deaths.
