The 65% establishments include 90 schools (87% of all), 69 kindergartens (47%), nine music and art schools (100%), six interest education centers (75%) and five sports schools (50%).
The establishments where at least 80% of the employees have Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificates will receive funding from the municipality of Riga for EUR 5,000, EUR 7,500 or EUR 10,000, depending on the number of employees in the institution. For this additional support, educational institutions could apply until September 15.
