In all 1,077 new cases were recorded during the last 24 hours. Of that number, 641 cases were unvaccinated persons, or persons not fully vaccinated, and 436 were fully vaccinated. The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 241,839.
Of the 14,409 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 7.5% were positive. The 14-day cumulative morbidity rate per 100,000 population dropped again from 1,101 Monday to 1,058 Tuesday.

Sadly however, 31 more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed, with all of the victims over the age of 40 years. None of the fatalities were fully vaccinated individuals. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 3,796.
Tuesday data show 1,254 patients being treated in hospital with 203 patients displaying serious symptoms.
Meanwhile in Estonia 869 new cases and 11 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours and in Lithuania the figures were 1,915 cases and 23 deaths.
