The skies over Latvia were clear this morning, so it's evident that central Latvia is covered by snow (sniegs - see picture), while the Vidzeme region, marked with nav sniega, is not.
Weather reports say that the central parts of Latvia are covered with c. 15 cm thick blanket of snow right now.
