In total, contestants with 284 works from all over Latvia, as well as from Great Britain, Russia and the USA took part in the competition, with an expert jury whittling down the number to these 19 finalists.

As part of the measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection, no public awards will be made and the winners will be congratulated individually. A tour of the photo exhibition "19x19" will be on view starting from January 2022 in places of culture and education around Rīga.
The photo competition and exhibition organized by Radio Naba has been taking place since 2007.
