According to the arts center, it is a menu-type exhibition in which pieces are grouped into starters, main courses and desserts. The message the arts center wants to convey is that museums and collections must be where people gather.
The menu of artworks will be changing from time to time in the app. With this project, Zuzeum wants to say that arts institutions, like artists, have to be innovators rather than passive observers.
“Right now we're all looking for hope. Let it be an art exhibition in an unexpected but intuitively right place,” Agnese Kleina, director of Zuzeum and author of the concept, said.
Zuzeum is a new art center in Riga, which opened its doors in autumn 2020, but it was closed in the winter due to the limits of the coronavirus pandemic.
