Three for the Weekend: Lights, Nature, Literature

December is a time when many try to illuminate their days, literally. This weekend, there are also several events where light plays a crucial role, either literally or figuratively.

Light garden at Ropaži Church

For the fourth year in a row, a 'Garden of Light' decorative Christmas-spirit installation has appeared at the Ropaži Church (Baznīcas Street 1, Ropaži).

The light installations were set up for the first time in 2020 as a campaign for the renovation of the church and was a big hit, with tens of thousands of visitors, so the tradition continues.
