The ticket sales are usually a game of speed and luck, and a lot of clicking.
This time a 'virtual queue' will be created on the seller 'Biļešu paradīze' homepage, assigning every visitor to the site a line number. According to Jānis Ķuzulis, head of Biļešu paradīze's board, the numbers will be assigned at random at the time of the sales launch – 10 AM on Monday – and there is no need to keep the tab open two days prior.
The line speed will depend on each buyer.
Ticket prices, depending on the event, will range from EUR 5 to EUR 100. On May 15, ticket sales to smaller events will be launched; the grand dance concert tickets will be available on May 17 and the final choir concert tickets – on May 19. As of May 22, physical ticket offices will also offer tickets if any are left.
One buyer can purchase up to four tickets to the same event at one time, and up to 20 tickets to different events.
Livestreams of the events will be broadcast by the Latvian public media – Latvian Television, Latvian Radio, and LSM.
The XXVII Song and XVII Dance Festival takes place in Rīga from June 30 to July 9, 2023.
