Festival LAMPA wants to hear your thoughts

From January 15 to February 29, everyone interested is invited to register their event at the tenth LAMPA conversation festival, which will take place in Cēsis from July 5 to 6.

Over the past nine years, the LAMPA conversation festival has become a popular venue for respectful conversation and inclusive participation: it has gathered more than 100,000 visitors and provided an opportunity for some 6,300 participants, representing non-governmental organizations, state institutions, businesses, media, and political parties, to create more than 2,000 events that have raised discussions on issues of public importance, organizers' data show.

“What are our dreams and goals for the Latvian state, society and organizations? What do we need to do to reach them? What do I, a person, want from my life and what can I do to approach it? We want to see the anniversary festival as a place where together we can dream big dreams, set bold goals, and talk about the work to be done to gain strength and determination for our own and Latvia's growth,“ festival director Ieva Morica says of the festival's call this year.

The themes of the event are not limited – everything depends on the participants' objectives and creativity.

Information on the procedures for applying for events and the festival is available here. Organizers of events will be able to receive more information and answers to questions regarding participation in the festival in a webinar on February 1 at 16:30 on the festival's Facebook page.
