There are ten Latvian films in the K Suns festival program, currently scheduled for screening until July 6, but the theater is prepared to extend the screening if viewers' demand is high.
Six feature films are on the list, including the most popular Latvian films of the last two years – Viesturs Kairišs' historical drama "Janvāris/January" and Ināra Kolmane's "Mātes Piens/Soviet Milk". Director Linda Olte's "Māsas/Sisters", Signe Baumane's animation feature "Mans laulību projekts/My Love Affair with Marriage", the historical drama co-production of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania "Suflieris/O2/Dawn of War”, and the 2023 Juris Poškus' adventure comedy "Saule spīd 24 stundas/24 Hr Sunshine".
The Latvian film program also includes documentaries – the latest film of Ivars Seleckis “Zemnieki/Farmers”, Andrejs Verhoustinskis' "Delle" and Una Celma's "1960.gada meitenes/1960 Girls".
From June 27 to July 10, the cinema “Forum Cinemas” also offers 13 Latvian films, while the National Film Center portal filmas.lv has a film festival "From Midsummer to Song Festival" available free of charge worldwide.
